Roof Repair Smedway built its Roofing division around one idea: homeowners in Sandy deserve a straight answer, a fair price, and a truck in the driveway fast.
Roof Repair Smedway didn't start as a franchise looking for a market to plant a sign in. Our crews trained on real tear-offs, real ridge vents, and real attic inspections in Sandy, UT before we ever put a truck on the road under this name.
We carry full liability coverage and workers' compensation, and every lead installer holds current state licensing, so a claim adjuster, a home inspector, or your own insurance carrier can verify our credentials without a single awkward phone call.
We've seen what happens when a roof gets "good enough" instead of done right — the drywall stains, the mold behind the insulation, the second call nobody wanted to make. Our Roofing teams build to avoid that call entirely.
Verified licensing across Sandy, UT with documentation available on request.
Storm damage doesn't check a calendar, so neither does our on-call rotation.
No surprise charges once the crew is already on your roof.
Faster arrival times because the truck was already nearby.
A roof rarely fails all at once. It sends smaller signals first, and catching them early is almost always cheaper than waiting for the emergency call.
Heavy granule loss is one of the earliest visible clues that a roof is approaching the end of its service life.
Cupped shingles trap moisture underneath instead of shedding it, accelerating rot in the decking below.
Visible light through the roof deck is a direct sign the barrier between your attic and the weather has been compromised.
Ceiling stains tend to grow slowly, which is exactly why they're often ignored until the damage spreads.
If upstairs rooms feel noticeably warmer than the rest of the house, a failing roof system is a common hidden cause.
Even one missing shingle can let enough water through to rot the decking underneath within a single storm season.
We break our work into distinct service lanes because a wind-lifted ridge cap and a full tear-off need completely different crews, materials, and timelines.
When high wind or hail peels back a section of roofing, our on-call crew tarps the exposed area to stop active water intrusion before it reaches the decking, then schedules the permanent repair.
From a handful of cracked shingles to a full asphalt or metal system replacement, our residential crews scope the job against manufacturer specs, not guesswork.
We schedule commercial jobs around business hours whenever possible, minimizing disruption to tenants, staff, or foot traffic.
Replacement jobs include a detailed material walkthrough so you're choosing a system that fits your climate exposure and budget, not just whatever's on the truck.
A thorough inspection checks flashing, fasteners, ventilation, and granule loss — the small issues that turn into major leaks if left alone.
If a roof has an unusual pitch, an older material system, or a custom architectural feature, our senior crews handle the scoping personally.
A dispatcher takes down your address, roof type, and the issue, then routes it to the nearest available crew in Sandy, UT.
A technician walks the roof, checks the attic side when accessible, and documents the damage with photos.
Financing and insurance-claim assistance are discussed at this stage if applicable.
Warranty documentation is provided on completion for both materials and labor.
Because our teams are already local, we're rarely the company still driving in from three counties away.
Every job gets a written estimate before a single nail is pulled, so there's no surprise number waiting at the end.
Certifications are kept current so warranty coverage on materials stays valid when we install them.
If something about the finished work doesn't meet the agreed scope, we come back and make it right.
Our estimates are itemized in a format most carriers recognize, which speeds up claim approval.
Some jobs genuinely need a repair, not a replacement, and we'll tell you which one yours is.
We put our workmanship guarantee in writing on every job, so if something about the completed work doesn't match what was agreed, we send a crew back at no extra charge.
We also guarantee the estimate itself: barring a scope change you approve in writing, the number on your written quote is the number on your final invoice.
Roof Repair Smedway dispatches Roofing crews to Sandy and the surrounding communities throughout Sandy, UT, with additional coverage available on request for properties just outside our standard radius.
Dispatch routes are planned around Sandy's actual neighborhoods and access roads, not a generic radius drawn on a map, which is part of why our arrival estimates tend to hold up.
